The power plant 100% given to animals during feeding is critical to the flavor and taste of meat.
At PQA, food is healthy, controlled and mainly consists of cereals.
The two approved suppliers are companies SCAR and QUARTES must follow a positive list of materials that may be in the food composition, and they must ensure the traceability of raw materials. The complete list contains:

• Wheat - Barley - Oats - Triticale
• Spelt – Rye-Buckwheat – oat bran
• middlings - Corn silage grain - corn grain drive - Corn gluten
• Potatoes - bean - Spring Peas - Beet-pulp
• Yeast
• Rapeseed meal - Soybean Meal - Sunflower meal
• Whey - Skim Milk - Buttermilk - synthetic amino acids
• Salt - soluble phosphate - Linseed - Carbonate of lime
• Soybeans
We believe that a slow growth is the basis of a good maturity of the meat, hence our choice of food commodities to slow digestion.
PQA guarantees the absence in these raw materials of Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) on the basis of analysis. 
Some Food Supplements are allowed, but may not contain any additive drug. The specification states that veterinary care administered as a preventive measure are excluded. The use of drugs or antibiotics, is allowed to curative, under the supervision of a veterinarian and under the control of PQA and PROMAG. Waiting times prescribed prior to slaughter will be doubled. All treated pigs will be equipped with a green loop and will be excluded from the Label “Porc Fermier”.
