P.Q.A. is a cooperative of farmers - PIGS feeders with the status of chevillard wholesale. It was created in 1989 by 14 producers and a butcher.

To ensure quality pork, P.Q.A. had to create their own specifications with the help of PROMAG (certifying body approved by the Walloon Region). This was echoed by the Committee on labels for the "PIG FARMERS" and was officially recognized by the Walloon Region in 1993. (See details of the specifications in menu Pig Farmer).

PQA was born in the Ardennes or the farmers believed in the future of this speculation, because they have:
- Sufficient labor supply,
- Large areas to spread the manure,
- Ideas "naturalist and extensive" for a differentiated quality of pork.
